Concluding Prayer

During the walk of our lives,
Mary remains standing at the foot of the Cross
‘Our life, our sweetness and our hope’
Who like the dawn brings to us the rising of the Morning Star and the end of the dark night;
She instils us with courage that we may believe that the last word
Is not condemnation but forgiveness,
Is not solitude but friendship,
Is not suffering but joy,
Is not destruction but salvation.
Is not sin but grace
Is not death, but Life.

Mary, the New Even who says ‘yes’ to God
Leads us that our live may include a daily ‘yes’ to the will of the Father,
That God whose last word will be his,
And this word will be ‘I Love You!’
